Today, our family had the challenge to make a list of some promises that God gives us in the Bible. There are so many promises that He gives to us. It is great to know He will keep everyone of them.
It was nice to be apart of another birthday this month (Happy Birthday Nick!) And to get to meet the Dowell's new addition to the family....Bailey their new Daughter in law.
It's that time of year to pick the pears! This year the tree didn't produce very much. Not sure if it had anything to do with the pruning job last fall. But...never fear we have Troy to climb the trees and get the good picks!
Today I went to the orthodontist and got some really nice news that instead of having to wear my retainer every day all day, I only have to wear it only at night! :)
It was a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends our daughter turning 14 years old. What a beautiful young lady she is....we are looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for her in the near future! To many more birthdays!!! Love ya girl!
It was a blessing to be apart of an Anniversary celebration of Tony and Joyce. What an inspiration to see couples married and celebrating 50 years together in marriage! Still happy as the day they first got married! Congrats to you both!
As always our kids love going to the beach looking for treasures and digging for something unique they can bring home. Today we visited friends of ours and had dinner and play on the beach! Great Friday!
After many hours of picking, cutting, slicing, grinding, stirring, & then canning....we ended up with about 11 jars of sauce and salsa. We are looking forward to digging into these this winter!
Oh how I LOVE this group of kids. I have really grown to love them and all their funny things they say. It's a privilege to teach them about God's Love and I'm so glad I have this opportunity!!
Today Elizabeth got a award for her drawing she did for the Delaware Physician Care's calendar. It was also nice of them to give the rest of us kids a bag of goodies for participating.
Even though our starting date changed twice....we finally got things together and started off school with a great day. It was a fun day altogether and we even enjoyed a lunch at home with McDonalds! (of course with coupons) That evening we got to watch the much anticipated Bates Family show at 9 p.m. Loved, Loved, LOVED, the 1st day of school to many more days like this!
It seemed like yesterday we were in High School and becoming friends, going to the prom, graduating high school, then college. Now we are celebrating 17 years together along with our 7 children that God has blessed us with. We were talking at lunch time and we don't feel worthy of all that God has blessed and given us. It's been a journey of many ups and downs but through all of it our love has grown and our faith has become stronger!
Today we celebrated my brother turning the big 40!!! We had a great time with family and friends. It's always a great time getting together with people we love and care for! We have a blast making memories and being silly for the afternoon!
On our ride to go pick up Emma from her job training at Redners we saw this really cute couple riding down the highway in their convertible car. My mom and I thought that they were really cute!!!!!
So this morning we were all sitting around in the living room and we gave Abigail the walker and she started walking around. She thought we was BIG stuff walking around like that. All smiles and happy!!!!! The first time she was walking around like that.
Today, we had the pastor's fellowship at our church. The preaching was amazing! Then afterwards, our family got to enjoy free food with the Fleck family. I have to say it was a great day!
