Day 125

"Bug and Bud Festival"
Today was the Bug and Bud festival. Our church goes and sets up a tent and hands out invitations to church, candy, water, and stuff like that. So these pictures are some things we did. The paddle boats on the top (that happens to be my favorite thing of the day), face painting someone else had done for Elizabeth and Owen. It was a VERY long and tiring day, but it was all worth it. You never know what will come out of the work that was done today!!!!

Day 122

"Encouraging"
After years....months.....and many Wednesday nights of having our children's ministry, it's finally GROWING!   It was such a joy and a encouragement to me to see how God is growing this program.  I remember many of times it was just my kids and it was some days pretty sad.  Praise God for all the many new faces and souls He is bringing to this property to hear how God's love for them!  Tonight Miss Peggie was a good sport and had her hair colored since they broke their goal of 25!  Awesome!!!

Day 121

"Bill the Bug"
Well today was a kind of nice days, and when we have nice days we almost ALWAYS take a walk. Today was one of those days. As we were walking I usually have my camera, and found this BEAUTIFUL flower with Bill (the bug) on it!!!   :D

Day 120

"Monday...Monday..."
Well it was exactly that!  From showing up EARLY to Owen's Dr. appt. to renewing my drivers license, taking Emma to her driving class and going into a Little Ceasar's Pizza joint (thinking they were open) and trying to order a pizza.  It was a very eventful and embarrassing and exhausting day.   Glad for it to be OVER!!!

Day 119

"What we needed"
It was a beautiful and cold Sunday with something we needed....Rain!   It was one of those days where you could curl up in bed, take a nap or watch a movie.  Church of course was the 1st priority but we enjoyed the rain and our garden did too!

Day 118

"Finally Saturday"
After weekend after weekend back to back with TONS of LONG Saturdays, it was nice to just have a Saturday to get things accomplished here at the house and not have to rush around everywhere.  We planted some in the garden, got the yard cleaned up, house stuff and didn't go anywhere!  So nice.  Owen was so excited to plant his corn and Olivia had a visitor show up on her  neck as she sat at her desk catching up on work.  Hopefully we can have another one of these Saturdays soon!

Day 114

"First Time"
After a number of children....I for the 1st time made my own baby food.  It was actually pretty fun and it is definitively cheaper than buying a bunch of jars.  As for Abigail...she doesn't care for much right now, but I think she'll get used to it!

Day 113

"Water wars"
Today's high was 87 but felt hotter than that.   For something different and a break from the ordinary...we did some old fashion water balloons!   It seemed like it took forever to fill a bunch of them up, but they all had a blast getting wet and of course trying to over power someone else!

Day 107

"Happy Birthday Owen"
Reflecting back on six years ago, I am reminded of holding Owen for the 1st time.  I can remember everything about his birth so vividly in my mind and especially wondering what he was going to be like.  Now after 6 years, it's so neat to see his personality shine.  We have been truly blessed with a wonderful son, who makes us laugh and smile everyday!  Happy Birthday Owen!

Day 105

"Easter"
It was a wonderful Sunday to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord. For Christians this is the biggest celebration that He conquered the grave.   The weather finally warmed up and we had a great morning with our church family and later in the afternoon we spent time with both of our extended family.  Great Sunday.....Great Easter!

Day 104

"Birthday Party"
Great day for a birthday party!  Owen was so excited to turn 6 (he isn't 6 yet) but he had fun with his friends and cousins of course opening his presents!   He enjoyed outside, cake, ice cream, and all his angry bird presents.  He is such a joy and we are SO thankful for him!

Day 97

"Work Day....Family Day"
Today...we had a great big breakfast at church before we went to invite others for Easter service.  We had a great turn out and a great time inviting others and sharing the gospel.  Then after all the hard work, we had a great time with family.  We love that we have a supportive family to help us with different ministries and outreaches that we do!
